With training camp underway, the NY Jets are preparing for their 2022 season. While we're still over a month away from the start of the regular season, it's never too early to start pointing out what games the Jets could — and should — win.

These are the top three easiest games on the schedule that the Jets should win this season.

1. Week 2: NY Jets @ Cleveland Browns

While it won't be as easy to win on the road, this is probably one of the most winnable games for the Jets in the early part of their season. With the schedule being one of the harder ones in the NFL, every game that the Jets could win, they must.

With all the issues the Cleveland Browns have been having this offseason at the quarterback position, from getting rid of Baker Mayfield to obtaining Deshaun Watson to potentially losing Watson again, this could be a winnable game for the Jets.

The Jets, however, will need to contain Nick Chubb and Amari Cooper. Chubb and Cooper are two of the league's best at their respective positions. The new and improved Jets defense will need to show exactly why all the hype surrounding them is real.

2. Week 15: NY Jets vs. Detroit Lions

Need I say more? If this team cannot beat the Detroit Lions in Week 15, something went seriously wrong along the way. The Jets have one of the most difficult first halves of the season as the opponents they have to face in the first nine weeks won't be easy.

In all seriousness, this is a must-win game for the Jets. The Jets have a lot of hype heading into this season about how the team improved so much. This game should attest to why the hype around the entire team is real.

3. Week 16: NY Jets vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars, while they are typically toward the bottom of the NFL in the standings, always put on pretty entertaining games. Especially when the quarterbacks of both teams are two of the best young quarterbacks in the league today.

Much like last year, this game will have the same narrative. If nothing else changes during the season, this game will be Trevor Lawrence vs. Zach Wilson. Last season, the Jets bested the Jaguars 26-21. With many expecting Trevor Lawrence to take a big step forward, Zach Wilson will need to do the same.

Although this may look pretty even on paper on the offensive side of the ball, the defense will be the deciding factor. They will need to show up and shut down Lawrence. They had no issues doing just that last year, but this is a fresh and new season where anything could happen.

These three matchups are games that, in all likelihood, the Jets should win. The Jets have one of the hardest schedules in the entire NFL this year.

All this means is that the games that the Jets should win, they must win. We are seven Sundays away from Week 1, expect things to heat up quickly.
