Week 13: Dec. 3 vs. Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons certainly aren’t going to be boring in 2023. Atlanta has committed to building around Desmond Ridder at quarterback, and they’ve given him quite a few weapons to work with.
Kyle Pitts, Drake London, Tyler Allgeier, and rookie Bijan Robinson give the Falcons an impressive skill-position group, although their offensive line and defense have some concerns.
Ultimately, this Jets’ defense is tailor-made for terrorizing young quarterbacks. An excellent pass rush and stacked cornerback room prove to be too much for Ridder and the Falcons, resulting in a Jets victory.
Week 14: Dec. 10 vs. Houston Texans
The Texans made some serious strides as an organization this offseason, adding a new potential franchise quarterback in C.J. Stroud and arguably the best player in this year’s draft in Will Anderson.
There are reasons to be excited about the future if you’re a Texans fan, but it’s important not to overlook the fact that this is still one of the least talented rosters in football.
A home matchup against the Texans might just be the easiest game on the Jets’ schedule. This should be seen as a must-win for the Jets this season.
