Week 9: Nov. 6 vs. Los Angeles Chargers (Monday Night Football)
The Jets are fortunate enough to play the AFC Westās two best teams at home instead of on the run, but that doesnāt mean their matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers will be easy.
Justin Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and heāll be throwing to the likes of Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and rookie Quentin Johnston, not to mention Austin Ekeler, if he sticks around.
The Jetsā defense will face a tall task having to limit this Chargers offense, but I think the Jets match up pretty well here. Gang Greenās secondary steps up and helps the Jets secure a huge victory over an excellent Chargers team.
Week 10: Nov. 12 at Las Vegas Raiders (Sunday Night Football)
The Jets will make their first trip to Las Vegas as they take on the Raiders in this cross-country road trip. The Raiders will be led by new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in what the team hopes will be a new era following the departure of Derek Carr.
Garoppolo is a fine QB, but heās nothing the Jetsā defense will be afraid of. The Raidersā offensive line has some holes and their secondary remains a work in progress.
Itās a long road trip for the Jets, but this is a game they should win on paper. The Jetsā first game at Allegiant Stadium ends with a victory.
