2023 NY Jets schedule and predictions for all 17 games

Week 4: Oct. 1 vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Sunday Night Football)
The Jets take on the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in what might be one of the most high-profile games of the NFL season. It’ll be Patrick Mahomes vs. Aaron Rodgers. Robert Saleh vs. Andy Reid. What more could you ask for?
The addition of Rodgers makes the Jets legitimate Super Bowl contenders, and to compete with the best, you first have to beat the best. Until further notice, the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL.
The Jets have the advantage of playing the Chiefs at home here, and Rodgers isn’t one to shy away from the limelight. Still, it’s hard to predict any team to beat the Chiefs. It might be a close game, but I think the Chiefs end up on top.
Week 5: Oct. 8 at Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos were one of the biggest disappointments of the 2022 season. The addition of Russell Wilson left the organization with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations, but Wilson’s struggles combined with an injury-riddled roster led to a woeful five-win season.
There is every reason to believe that the Broncos will be a much better team in 2023. This is actually the third consecutive season that the Jets will play the Broncos, and playing on the road in Denver is never easy.
This has all the makings of a potential trap game for the Jets. After last season’s injury nightmare in Denver, the curse continues as the Jets lose to a game Broncos team.
