Week 14 at Buffalo - Disadvantage (10 days rest against the NY Jets)

As if any further advantages are needed for the Bills, they will be playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 13. This is the second time in the season the Jets will have back-to-back weeks of teams having extra days of rest and preparation.

On paper, this is likely the team's toughest game, as they'll be going up against one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl at their place.

Week 17 at Seattle - Advantage (10 days rest for the NY Jets)

This will be the only time that the Jets get either an advantage or disadvantage based on their prime-time matchups as they will only be on Thursday Night Football once in Week 16.

The additional rest days will offset some of the travel to Seattle. The matchup against the Seahawks will be a juicy one for many reasons, but in the best-case scenario, the Jets could have playoff implications.

Additional Notes

Week 2 at Cleveland, the Jets are unlikely to play quarterback Deshaun Watson due to suspension. This will greatly benefit the hopes of starting the season off with positive momentum, as the team should be able to fare better against Jacoby Brissett.

In Week 11, both the Jets will head to New England after both teams have a bye week. This will be a good test to compare the preparation of New York's coaching staff with the one led by Bill Belichick.
