The USFL has concluded its inaugural draft with the league's eight teams featuring a number of former NFL players. The NY Jets are among those teams represented by quite a few former players and even a couple of former coaches.

While the league's rosters are yet to be finalized and the first game isn't until mid-April, the preliminary rosters have been set while a few coaches have been announced.

Some of the league's most prominent players include Paxton Lynch, Shea Patterson, Jordan Ta'amu, Eli Rogers, Obi Melifonwu, among others. Not exactly a who's who of NFL talent.

That said, there might be a few former Jets who fans recognize. The Jets are certainly well represented with all but one of the USFL's eight teams featuring alumni of the organization.

If you're expecting former stars, you aren't going to find them here. In fact, it's likely the vast majority of fans will have never heard of many or even any of these players. This is for the diehards.

From players who spent one week to a few years with the organization, let's take a look at all 19 former Jets that are a part of the USFL right now, at least by my count.

Former NY Jets on the Philadelphia Stars

• DL Freedom Akinmoladun

The only former Jets player on the Philadelphia Stars just so happens to be the only player who appeared in a game with the team in 2021.

Defensive lineman Freedom Akinmoladun was signed to the Jets practice squad in late December and would appear in one game with the team this past season playing 21 defensive snaps and recording two tackles in Week 16.
