9. Cedric Ogbuehi, OT

Veteran offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi was signed by the Jets in September of last season, and he went on to start five games for the team before landing on the injured reserve.

Ogbuehi was released by the Jets in May before signing on with the Miami Dolphins. He wasn't able to secure a roster spot this summer, however, as he was released last week. Ogbuehi is still looking for a new team.

8. Eric Tomlinson, TE

Remember Eric Tomlinson? The well-traveled blocking tight end started 29 games (appearing in 36) for the Jets between 2016 and 2018, and he's managed to put together a pretty solid NFL career since then.

Tomlinson has appeared in 49 games over the last four seasons, spending time with five different NFL teams. He actually started 12 games for the Broncos last season before signing with the Houston Texans in May.

Tomlinson was a somewhat surprising release, and now the 31-year-old tight end is in search of a new home.

7. La'Mical Perine, RB

Former fourth-round pick La'Mical Perine never amounted to much with the Jets, and he was released after just two seasons with the team. Perine totaled 263 yards and two touchdowns (3.7 YPC) in 14 games as a member of the Jets.

The former Florida standout hasn't appeared in a game since then, but he did manage to earn a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad last season.

Perine was released by the Chiefs this past week but re-signed with the team's practice squad shortly after.
