The NY Jets benefitted from the extra 10 days of rest the team received following its Week 9 win over the Houston Texans a week ago. The Jets are still banged up, but they've gotten healthier since their last game.
That's good news for a Jets team that's desperate for another win to keep their postseason hopes alive. At 3-6, the Jets can't afford to lose many more games if they're going to make a late-season playoff run.
The Jets have ruled out three players this week, linebacker C.J. Mosley (neck), offensive guard Jake Hanson (hamstring), and defensive tackle Solomon Thomas (knee). The rest of the Jets' injured players from a week ago are expected to be active today.
Starting left guard John Simpson suffered a groin injury in Week 9, but after 10 days of rest, Simpson is off the injury report and will be active. The same is true for right tackle Morgan Moses, who despite being listed as questionable with a knee injury, is expected to play.
Right guard Alijah Vera-Tucker received the most notable positive injury boost for the Jets this week. Vera-Tucker has missed the last two games with a high-ankle sprain and did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday.
However, the former USC star returned as a full participant on Friday and is expected to play despite being listed as questionable. Rookie Olu Fashanu would start at guard if Vera-Tucker is unable to play.
The Cardinals have only ruled out one player for this game, defensive lineman Darius Robinson. Arizona's first-round pick is yet to make his NFL debut despite being activated from the injured reserve last month.
Who are the official inactives for both the Jets and the Cardinals today? We've got you covered.

- RB Israel Abanikanda
- OL Jake Hanson
- LB C.J. Mosley
- DT Solomon Thomas
- OT Carter Warren
The Jets only elevated one player, kicker Spencer Shrader, from their practice squad this week, so they only have five inactives. Of those five inactives, three are due to injury.
Linebacker C.J. Mosley will miss his third consecutive game with a neck injury. It's been an injury-riddled season for Mosley, who previously missed three games due to a toe injury. Quincy Williams and Jamien Sherwood will serve as the Jets' top two linebackers.
Backup offensive guard Jake Hanson is out with a hamstring injury. Hanson started last week at right guard before exiting due to his injury. Rookie Olu Fashanu and Max Mitchell will serve as the team's top backup offensive tackles/guards, while Alec Lindstrom is the backup center.
Defensive tackle Solomon Thomas did not participate in practice all week and was downgraded to OUT on Saturday. The Jets signed Bruce Hector to the 53-man roster, and he will take Thomas's place as the fourth defensive tackle alongside Quinnen Williams, Javon Kinlaw, and Leonard Taylor.

- DL Darius Robinson
- SAF Jalen Thompson
- LB Julian Okwara
- OL Christian Jones
- TE Travis Vokolek

Defensive lineman Darius Robinson is the only Cardinals player ruled out due to injury. The 27th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, Robinson suffered a calf injury in the summer and hasn't appeared in an NFL game yet.
Robinson was activated from the injured reserve last week but is puzzlingly still out injured, raising questions about why he was activated in the first place. The Cardinals will continue to lean on the likes of L.J. Collier, Dante Stills, and Naquan Jones. Jones missed last week with a thigh injury but is active today.
Safety Jalen Thompson is OUT with an ankle injury. Thompson was listed as questionable after being downgraded to a "DNP" in practice on Friday. Rookie Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, nicknamed Rabbit, will start in his place.
