It's been 57 years since the New York Jets pulled off one of the greatest upsets in American sports, defeating the NFL's Baltimore Colts to give the AFL and the Jets their first (and only) Super Bowl victory.
Despite the long drought, the Jets are still able to hold a record over their AFC East rivals, even though the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins have more Super Bowl victories, and the Buffalo Bills have more Super Bowl appearances.
The Jets have a perfect winning percentage in the big game, with one victory and zero losses in their franchise history.

Jets lead the AFC East with perfect Super Bowl win percentage
It may only be 1-0, but it's a better record than the rest of the AFC East.
The Patriots, after their latest appearance in this year's Super Bowl, hold the NFL record for the most AFC Championship Game wins, appearing in the Super Bowl 12 times over their franchise history. They're 6-6 all-time, holding a 50% win percentage.
In Miami, the Dolphins hold a 2-3 record in the big game, winning their first two Super Bowls back-to-back in 1972 and 1973. Since their 2-0 start, they've lost three straight in 1973, 1982, and 1984. Their all-time win percentage sits at 40%.
And then there's the Bills. Buffalo made history in the early 90s, making four straight Super Bowls from 1991 to 1994. They famously lost all four and haven't been back to the big game since. They have a 0% win percentage.
The Jets may have the longest drought among their AFC East rivals, but there's something to be said about being a perfect 1-0. Maybe they haven't been back in almost 60 years, but you can always hang your hat on the fact that the Jets have never lost a Super Bowl.
You could argue that some fans would rather at least be in it and have a shot to win, but when it comes to the Jets, a glass-half-full approach is always the best way to take it, and that's certainly what we're doing here when it comes to their perfect winning percentage in the Super Bowl.
