The New York Jets are moving some pieces around on their 90-man roster, and after the New York Post's Brian Costello reported that the Jets cut ties with two players on Monday morning, they made a corresponding move just a few hours later.

Costello reported that the Jets are signing former New York Giants wide receiver Da'Quan Felton and undrafted free agent linebacker Chase Wilson.

After cutting ties with kicker Lenny Krieg and linebacker Kobe King, New York had two open roster spots, and evidently, they've been filled.

Felton has one year of NFL experience under his belt, having spent the 2025 season on injured reserve after signing with Big Blue out of college, and Wilson was a rookie minicamp tryout with the Jets shortly after the 2026 NFL Draft.

Felton will likely end up as a camp body for the Jets. Their top five wide receiver seem fairly set as it is.

Garrett Wilson, Adonai Mitchell, and Omar Cooper Jr. are the Jets' top three wideouts, while recent free agent addition Tim Patrick and 2025 fourth-round pick Arian Smith are expected to serve as primary depth.

If New York carries a sixth receiver, they'll likely be a special teams-focused player, such as return specialist Isaiah Williams. He showed he has use as a gadget player on offense, and was an elite returner in 2025.

As for the linebacker room, the Jets are fairly thin in front of their starters. Demario Davis and Jamien Sherwood will be primary contributors, but the depth is a bit of a mystery.

2025 fifth-round pick Kiko Mauigoa struggled as a rookie, but could prove his worth after a strong offseason. Mykal Walker was solid down the stretch last season and will certainly play a role on special teams.

Wilson, the latest Jets signing, spent his final season of college football with the West Virginia Mountaineers after transferring from Colorado State.

He'll be competing with the likes of Walker, Mauigoa, and Jaden Keller for the Jets' main linebacker depth. Marcelino McCrary-Ball is likely safe given his contributions on special teams. He was a captain last season.
