The New York Jets have been fortunate enough not to be dealing with any major, season-ending injuries throughout the summer, but that doesn't mean they've gotten through training camp unscathed.
Things started off rough with Kenyon Sadiq facing a setback from his offseason hernia surgery. The first-round draft pick has yet to return to practice, along with 2026 draft classmate D'Angelo Ponds. Neither rookie has gotten the much-needed summer reps that young players need.
Veteran offseason acquisitions Joseph Ossai and T'Vondre Sweat also missed the first several weeks of camp dealing with their own injuries. The projected starters were activated off the Physically Unable to Perform list and the Non-Football Injury list, respectively, in the past week.
And then there's recently extended running back Breece Hall, who suffered a groin injury during practice last week. He's been shut down for the remainder of the preseason.
Despite the minor injuries that the Jets seem to be working through, it seems everybody is trending in the right direction. If head coach Aaron Glenn is to be believed, New York should hopefully be at full strength once Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans rolls around.
Aaron Glenn provides positive injury updates on several key New York Jets starters
After practice on Monday, Glenn spoke with reporters and was asked about the health of several players who have been injured as of late. While some Jets remain injured, all signs point to everyone getting healthier.
ESPN's Rich Cimini shared a roundup of the current injured list and provided Glenn's updates on every player.

CBs Nahshon Wright and Qwan'tez Stiggers returned to practice on a limited basis. Ditto, LB Kiko Mauigoa
ED Joseph Ossai, ED Kingsley Enagbare and DT T'Vondre Sweat increased to full practice.
RB Breece Hall, TE Kenyon Sadiq, CB…
One of the bigger updates was cornerbacks Nahshon Wright and Qwan'tez Stiggers returning to practice on a limited basis. Wright has a lot of ground to make up if he's going to continue competing for the starting job with Azareye'h Thomas, and Stiggers hasn't practiced since collapsing during joint practice with the Buccaneers on August 11.
Next up were the players who started the offseason unable to participate: Ossai and Sweat. Neither player was able to suit up alongside the Jets' starting defense for the first two preseason games, and it's unclear if they'll play Friday night against the New York Giants.
But for now, they're back at practice in full capacity, and that's a good sign for their availability come Week 1.
Finally, and arguably the most exciting for fans, is the notion that Glenn believes Sadiq, Ponds, Hall, and backup running back Isaiah Davis will all be ready for the start of the regular season. Sadiq and Hall are set to play key roles with the offense in 2026.

All in all, the Jets are getting healthy, and that's arguably the more important thing for this team right now than any preseason finale.
