The injuries keep piling up for the New York Jets, even as they seem on the cusp of getting players like Breece Hall and Dylan Parham back into the lineup. Aaron Glenn's Wednesday press conference shed some light on which players may or may not be active for Week 8.

"T. (T'Vondre) Sweat and Joe Ossai, they won't practice today. I'll keep them in the week-to-week category. David Bailey and Max Mitchell, they'll be out today... Three guys that will be limited in practice today will be Breece (Hall), Dylan Parham and Braelon Allen."

We finally have some clarity on T'Vondre Sweat's knee injury, suffered in the second quarter of the loss to the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday. He's unlikely to play against the Las Vegas Raiders.

It's good to hear that Breece Hall will be back in practice today, at least in a limited capacity. He was able to log two straight LPs last week leading into the Miami game, before ultimately being ruled out early Sunday morning.

An already weak New York Jets pass rush gets worse

One of the more concerning updates from Glenn was on No. 2 overall pick, David Bailey. He won't participate in practice today with a groin injury, leaving the Jets' already thin pass rush room even thinner.

With Joseph Ossai still week-to-week nursing a foot injury, the Jets are at risk of heading into Sunday's game with Kingsley Enagbare, Will McDonald, and Nate Lynn as their main edge group. They'll likely have to make a call-up from the practice squad.

Regardless, that doesn't sound like a recipe for success. In order to beat Kirk Cousins, you have to put pressure on him, and the Jets have struggled with their pass rush even with Bailey in the lineup.

New York Jets offense could finally get back to full strength

In some more positive news, the Jets seem to be on the cusp of regaining the final few missing pieces of their offense. Both Hall and starting left guard Dylan Parham, inactive this past Sunday, should be in line to return against the Raiders.

After several weeks of Jordan Meredith at left guard for New York, having Parham back in the mix will be a boon. Through the first three weeks of the 2026 season, he was quietly the Jets' best offensive lineman, at least, per Pro Football Focus.

It will also be interesting to see how the Jets finally use a two-headed backfield, with Braelon Allen running really well over the past month.
