NY Jets: Complete 32-player first-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft
By Justin Fried
The 2021 NFL Draft has officially arrived. The first 32 picks of the draft will be made later tonight, and as a result, the futures of a number of NFL franchises will be forever changed.
Dreams will be achieved. Surprises will ensue. And the landscape of the NFL will be permanently altered.
The NY Jets will be one of the draft’s most prominent residents with two selections in the top-23 including the No. 2 overall pick. Joining their new head coach will likely be a new quarterback, marking a new era for the organization.
Others such as the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers are expected to make franchise-altering decisions as well. With as many as five quarterbacks projected to be selected within the top-15 picks, there should be no shortage of excitement.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an NFL Draft without a surprise or two. Some highly-touted players will fall while others will rocket up draft boards and be selected quicker than anyone could have expected.
That’s the NFL Draft. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Mock drafts are always a fun way of running through just one possible scenario that could unfold in what promises to be an unpredictable night. Now less than 24 hours away from the start of the draft, we did our best to gauge what could possibly happen.
