NY Jets: 5 wide receivers to target in the 2021 NFL Draft
By Stephen Nixon
3. NY Jets draft target: Tamorrion Terry, Florida State
Tamorrion Terry went from being a potential first-round pick to someone who’s fallen near the end of the draft in many national rankings. At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, he’s got great size and is someone who makes big plays.
However, injury concerns are the reason why he’s not getting the love that he was during the 2019 season. Terry has had two knee surgeries over the past year and had a disappointing senior season, as a result.
Despite the concerns, there are a ton of positives with him. During the 2019 season, Terry averaged 19.8 yards per catch and scored nine touchdowns.

This would be a risky pick for the Jets, but if they’ve yet to draft a wide receiver by the fifth or sixth round, then it could be worth taking a flier on Terry. He’s not a sure thing, but in the right situation, he could be an impactful player.
Terry is clearly a big-play threat every time he steps on the field, so if he’s healthy, he could score a lot of deep-ball touchdowns.
In terms of a comparison, he’s actually pretty similar to someone like Denzel Mims who the Jets selected last year, so the two of them could do some damage together teamed up with Zach Wilson.
