April is officially upon us and Sam Darnold remains the quarterback of the NY Jets. But now that the pro days for the top quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft have passed, it seems like only a matter of time before that’s no longer the case.

Darnold has been the center of trade rumors all offseason after a disappointing 2020 campaign that saw the team finish 2-14, due in no small part to the young quarterback’s immense struggles.

And with a golden opportunity to select his replacement with the No. 2 overall pick in a stacked quarterback class, the Jets aren’t expected to pass that up.

That means that Darnold will have to find a new home for the 2021 season.

Darnold’s trade market may be dwindling, but contrary to what some seem to believe, a host of teams remain interested. In fact, uStadium reported on Friday that seven teams (five of which were named) are still in on Darnold.

The five teams named were the Washington Football Team, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Carolina Panthers, along with two mystery teams that remain involved.

But of the five teams that were mentioned, which one is most likely to make the move for Darnold? That’s the question we’re out to answer today.

Darnold will, in all likelihood, be playing for a new team in 2021. But which team will that be? Where will the Jets trade the former No. 3 overall pick to?

We did our best to rank the top five potential trade destinations for Sam Darnold.
