The New York Jets have plenty of firepower on both sides of the ball, and they’re already putting on quite the show for their fans during this year’s training camp practices.

If you like star power and swagger, the 2019 New York Jets are your team.

From second-year Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams and second-year quarterback Sam Darnold to new additions like running back Le’Veon Bell and linebacker C.J. Mosley, the Jets are loaded with playmakers and household names heading into the 2019 season.

Training camp has just barely gotten underway, but this star-studded Jets team is already giving their fans plenty of entertainment, Adams says (via team senior reporter Eric Allen):

It’s a lot of energy, a lot of swagger. Everybody’s competing out here, coaches included and that’s how you get better as an organization. Every time we come out to practice, it’s definitely a show.

When I say a show, it’s doing the right things. It’s doing the little things and competing at a high level.

Despite having just two years of NFL experience under his belt at this point, Adams has already established himself as the vocal leader of the Jets defense, and one of the best safeties in the entire league. Throw in the likes of Mosley, veteran defensive lineman Leonard Williams and No. 3 overall pick Quinnen Williams, and the Jets have the makings of a top-five NFL defense.

On offense, Bell and Darnold should give the Gang Green plenty of spark, both through the air and on the ground. Robby Anderson gives them one of the league’s best deep-threat receivers, and the offensive line should be much improved after acquiring guard Kelechi Osemele via trade from the Oakland Raiders.

Jets fans haven’t had much to get excited about in recent years, but this 2019 roster should change those fortunes sooner than later.
