Here’s this week’s edition of top five wide receivers to start in your fantasy football lineup.

The Week 14 edition of top five wide receivers to start in fantasy football took a hit. Only two of the five players listed finished as top 10 scorers in ESPN PPR standard scoring leagues.

Julio Jones led all players on the list with his 30.6 fantasy points. Jones reeled in eight catches for 106 yards and two scores in a losing effort to the Green Bay Packers.

Davante Adams was the other receiver listed who made ESPN’s top 10 with his 21.1 points. He stood on the opposite sideline of Jones, and he caught seven passes for 81 yards and one score.

Well, let’s hope this week we do better. So, let’s see who makes the list this week in fantasy football.

5. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers

It hasn’t been Antonio Brown who has been lighting it up week in and week out for the Pittsburgh Steelers. While he has had his staple games, JuJu Smith-Schuster has broken out in a big way this year.

Smith-Schuster has scored 30+ points three times this season. Last week, he went for 33 points.

The second-year receiver caught eight passes for 130 yards and two scores. This week, he will look to have a similar game against the New England Patriots.

The Pats have been a decent defense against the pass this year. But the Steelers will be looking for revenge after lost years deflating loss to the Patriots.

Next: 4. Davante Adams

4. Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers

Davante Adams has become a frequent flyer on this list. He has become one of the league’s most consistent and dominant wide receivers.

Not to mention, Adams has been one of the more valuable fantasy receivers as well. He has seven games of 20+ points, to go with one monster 35.2 day in Week 6.

Adams has been Aaron Rodgers‘ favorite target, which can only be a good thing. While the Packers season hasn’t gone the way they had hoped it would, there is still playoff hope.

Week 14 marks a big game for the Packers as they travel to Chicago to play the Bears. The Bears defense has been great, but don’t let that scare you away from starting Adams.

Next: 3. Julio Jones

3. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons

As noted before, Julio Jones had a 30.6-point game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 14. He even had his first multi-touchdown game of the year.

Jones had his ninth game with at least 100+ receiving yards as well. In fact, that was his fifth such game in the last six weeks.

That dominance has Jones atop the receiving yard leaderboard with his 1,429 yards. He will add to that this week at home against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals have only allowed 12 receiving scores to opposing wide receivers this year. That number will go up after this week.

Next: 2. DeAndre Hopkins

2. DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans

More from The Jet Press

The last four weeks haven’t been ones to remember for DeAndre Hopkins. While the Houston Texans have played well, he hasn’t cracked more than 16.1 points in that time.

No better time to break out of that slump, right? As fantasy championships are underway. Owners will be looking for a large day from their superstar receiver.

Even with Hopkins struggling he has still been productive. During those four weeks, his averages have been just over five catches and 64 receiving yards a game.

Hopkins has also hauled in two scores in those four weeks. He will look to break out of his slump and give his fantasy owners a big score against the New York Jets this week.

Next: 1. Keenan Allen

1. Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers

Keenan Allen left owners wanting more after his solid Week 14 game. He did get 18.8 points, but some expected him to do more damage against the Cincinnati Bengals secondary.

Allen caught five balls for 78 yards and one score last week. Two weeks ago, he went for 14 catches, 148 yards, and one score.

Fantasy owners will be looking for Allen to throw up numbers similar to his Week 13 game. He and his Los Angeles Chargers play a huge game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15.

Since the stakes are so big here, you can expect Allen and the Chargers to play very well. We may be looking at the back of Allen’s jersey a lot during the game.
