Heading into Week 13 fantasy football, it’s best to sit New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold against the Tennessee Titans.

The New York Jets hit the road in Week 13 action for a matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Both teams are struggling at the moment but the truth of the matter is, the Jets are underdogs heading into this game.

Their current quarterback situation has a huge question mark around it. At this point in time, quarterback Sam Darnold is listed as questionable due to a foot injury heading into Sunday’s game. Expect to see veteran quarterback Josh McCown start for the Jets under center which doesn’t exactly ignite the masses to see an incredible performance.

Darnold has been limited all week long in practice as all signs point to him missing yet another straight game. Even if he does suit up, it’s best that fantasy football owners sit him this week as there truly is no reason to start him in any way, shape, or form.

More from The Jet Press

The Jets offense ranks as one of the worst in the entire league as it’s been a hot mess for the past month, even with Darnold starting. They have a severe lack of talent when it comes to playmakers, an offensive line that is terrible, and can’t convert third downs when it matters most.

With fantasy football playoffs on the horizon, now isn’t the time to experiment when it comes to the most important position on your team. Darnold is hurt and experiencing rookie pains as he continues to develop for the future.

The Jets would be wise to shut him down now to avoid long-term injury as there is nothing to play for except pride at this point of the season.

Sit Darnold and don’t even think twice about it. There won’t be any miracles in the Volunteer State as the Jets are likely to leave this game with their sixth straight loss.
