Fantasy Football Sit ‘Em Week 13: QB Josh McCown
Heading into Week 13 fantasy football, it’s best to sit New York Jets quarterback Josh McCown against the Tennessee Titans.
The New York Jets are currently on a five-game losing streak with not much to play for. If they lose one more game, they’ll be mathematically eliminated from the NFL Playoffs but let’s not kid ourselves here, this team is far from being a contender. Most of that can be attributed to an abysmal offense.
The truth of the matter is, the Jets offense is terrible. It features a bad offensive line, lacks consistent playmakers, and well, the quarterback play has left much to the imagination. For the past few weeks, quarterback Josh McCown has been starting in place of the injured Sam Darnold and hasn’t gotten much of anything going right.
Fantasy football owners would be wise to sit McCown as he faces the Tennessee Titans on the road in Week 13 action. The Jets are dealing with a plethora of injuries and a good chunk of that is on their offense. As early underdogs against the Titans, it’s hard to believe the Jets even have a chance to leave the Volunteer State victorious.

Sit McCown this week and don’t even think twice about it. It’s obvious that the Jets are a lost cause this season with the likelihood that many changes are on the horizon once the offseason is finally here.
They’ll likely be an entirely new coaching staff brought in to once again fix the Jets and lots of familiar players not on the roster anymore to ensure a better product is on the field.
The Jets look like they’ve regressed as it’s time to shake things up and build around their younger players for a brighter future.
This will likely be McCown’s final year with the Jets and maybe even in the NFL. While he’s done a surreal job in the locker room thanks to his veteran leadership, it’s time for the Jets to move in a different direction when it comes to their quarterback room.
