Heading into Week 8 action, the New York Jets hit the road to face a tough Chicago Bears team. Here’s everything you need to know from final injuries, betting odds, the weather, and more.

At 3-4, the New York Jets are set to face yet another big test this season. They have a Week 8 road game against the Chicago Bears in a game that has “must-win” written all over it. A win today would put the Jets back at the .500 mark and still have hope that this year won’t be another forgettable season.

Both the Jets and Bears are rather similar in some ways but in the grand scheme of things, Chicago has the edge in this matchup. They have more offensive playmakers, a more stout defense, and have a quarterback in Mitchell Trubisky that could play lights out football if everything falls into place.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Jets have a lot of areas to work on if they’re to be contenders anytime soon. They will be missing several key playmakers on offense due to injuries and their defense leaves much to the imagination. This game could potentially be a blowout by the Bears if they attack quickly and consistently bring the heat against rookie quarterback Sam Darnold.
