Heading into Week 2, the New York Jets welcome the Miami Dolphins for their first home game of the season in MetLife Stadium. Here’s a preview, how to watch on TV, and of course, live streaming of today’s game.
There is no greater feeling than being at the first home game of the season when it comes to your favorite football team. Such is the case for New York Jets fans who will undoubtedly sell out MetLife Stadium as Gang Green will welcome the Miami Dolphins for what should be a great AFC East division matchup.
All eyes will be on rookie quarterback Sam Darnold and to see if he can prove whether or not last week was a fluke. The 21-year-old signal caller has been the talk of the football world for the past week with his dominating performance against the Detroit Lions. Nothing beats playing in front of the home crowd as Darnold should be able to continue where he left off from his big performance last week.
The Dolphins, on the other hand, are a team still trying to find their identity as a whole. They might have beaten the Tennessee Titans last week 27-20 but it was a sloppy performance as they still have a lot of questions marks around their offense as well as the ability to stop the run on defense. This is an area of opportunity the Jets will likely go after since their ground game is looking like a strength on offense that could do extremely well against a weak area of the Dolphins.
