As the New York Jets prepare for the season ahead, the Sam Darnold to Robby Anderson connection will be special for many years to come.

It’s no surprise that Sam Darnold came to win. After he dazzled in his first few preseason games for the New York Jets, It is totally obvious that top wide receiver Robby Anderson, who looks to have a stellar 2018, is going to look to shine catching passes from a quarterback who can help him look great out there.

A quarterback can make a receiver thrive, and vice versa. If Darnold stays on point with learning how to be successful in the NFL, let’s face it, he will be the next franchise quarterback of the Jets. So far in two preseason games, Darnold has looked good but still has a few things to work on. Regardless, It is a great glimpse of what he has learned thus far, but it’s not a complete view of everything he has to offer in the pros.

Time will tell what Darnold is capable of, especially since he is a rookie who has a lot of expectations to live up to even this early. Fans are expecting him to save this team and be a force to reckon with for many years to come. In order for that to happen, he’ll need a top-notch wide receiver that can push the envelope.

If anything, perhaps Darnold’s presence can inspire Anderson to stay out of trouble and focus on what could be a very promising football career. The Jets hope he can stay motivated and avoid legal issues but once Darnold gets to begin his career under center during the regular season, expect to see a lot of big receptions and clutch touchdowns.

Darnold to Anderson could be totally epic if both players can grow in their respective job descriptions. Darnold seems on pace and is completely on board with making the Jets contenders once again. With arm strength and good decision making in his corner, hopefully, he can lead this team back to the NFL Playoffs.

All in all, Darnold is a young quarterback who is showing so much potential and promise for a rookie fresh out of college. It helps to have a talented and upcoming receiver in Anderson, who looks to top his 2017 performance and prove to the Jets that he is serious about focusing on just football. If everything falls into place, Darnold to Anderson is going to be a popular phrase repeated over many times for new better memories in the future.
