Heading into Week 2 of the preseason, the New York Jets go up against the Washington Redskins in FedExField. Here’s a preview, how to watch on TV, and of course, live streaming of tonight’s game.

After a week of joint practices in training camp, the New York Jets are ready for the real deal. Later on tonight, they will face the Washington Redskins in Week 2 preseason action. Both teams have been the talk of the football world over the past week due to fights breaking out during joint training camp practices when going up against each other.

Now, both teams can actually hit each other and not worry about hearing an earful from their respective head coaches. Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor won’t be playing tonight against his former team as it was revealed earlier in the week that he actually had a broken foot that needed surgery back in May and not just a cleaning as originally believed.

Head coach Todd Bowles was furious that Pryor revealed the extent of his injury which is a clubhouse rule to not speak about to the media. Not only did Bowles have a conversation with him but his roster spot is likely in jeopardy due to Pryor’s negligence and the fact that he hasn’t done much of anything so far in Jets training camp.

Since it’s the hottest competition in training camp, the Jets quarterback situation will likely feature a lot of rookie Sam Darnold playing tonight. He’s been getting a plethora of first-team reps all week long and will likely play the majority of tonight’s game after Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater each get a series or two in. If Darnold gets the majority of reps tonight under center, it bodes well for him being groomed to start the regular season for the Jets.
