Heading into Week 10 fantasy football, make sure to sit wide receiver ArDarius Stewart of the New York Jets against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Unfortunately for wide receiver ArDarius Stewart, his time to shine will be somewhat limited in his Week 10 matchup on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As the New York Jets prepare to hit .500 before their bye week, all eyes will be on if they can be consistent to put together two big wins to continue putting their season in the right direction. For Stewart, fantasy football owners would be wise to not risk anything and bench him this week.

As per the Media Relations Department of the Jets, Stewart, unfortunately, suffered a groin injury in practice and is officially listed as “questionable” against the Buccaneers. It’s a shame since he could have been an x-factor on offense thanks to everything he brings to the table but it looks like he’ll see limited action, if any, on Sunday.

Fantasy football owners would be wise to bench Stewart and find another viable option via the waiver wire. It’s a waste of a starting spot to use a wide receiver that is dealing with a groin injury since if they do end up playing, won’t play up to their full potential due to dealing with all the pain that’s associated with it.

More from Jets Fantasy Football

Stewart has had a relatively quiet rookie season with the Jets as so far this year, he’s only totaled 24 receiving yards, four receptions, and has yet to score a touchdown. Due to the crowded situation at wide receiver for the Jets, he’s been buried on the depth chart for quite a while.

Due to wide receiver Jeremy Kerley being suspended for the next four games, it was expected that Stewart would get an increase of reps on offense but that more than likely won’t be the case due to his groin injury.

Expect to see those reps go to fellow rookie wide receiver Chad Hansen instead but it won’t even be enough to warrant starting him either. Bench Stewart this week and don’t even think twice about it.
