Heading into Week 6 fantasy football, quarterback Josh McCown of the New York Jets is worth starting against the New England Patriots.

Week 6 for the New York Jets sure brings them an interesting matchup. They welcome the New England Patriots to MetLife Stadium with hopes of having the biggest upset of the week if everything goes according to plan. The Jets are currently riding a three-game win streak as the Patriots continue to win football games but barely are getting the job done like they used to in the past. Should fantasy football owners dare consider starting quarterback Josh McCown?

In the grand scheme of things, McCown is entering a high favorable matchup here. The Patriots used to be a dominant team in every aspect of the game but so far this season, their defense has been terrible.

The defense of the Patriots has allowed opposing quarterbacks to throw for 300+ yards in every single game they’ve played in so far this season. This bodes well for McCown who is having a solid season for the Jets as he does well in managing the tempo of a game and even n the clutch, has done his part to have his team surprisingly win football games.

Fantasy football owners should consider starting McCown this week depending on if their main quarterback is on a bye/injured or if they want to take advantage of what should be a highly favorable matchup. Remember, the offense of the Jets as of late has been clicking on all cylinders so it’s not shocking to see the Jets actually have a shot at dominating the Patriots defense in that regard.
