New York Jets: Official 2016 NFL regular season schedule
The New York Jets have officially released their 2016 NFL regular season schedule as this time around, things won’t be as easy as they were last year.
The Jets easily have a much stronger schedule this upcoming season than last year. In 2015, they ended their season at 10-6 and although they missed the NFL Playoffs by losing their season finale against the Buffalo Bills, they should hopefully be back right in the thick of it come 2016.

The Jets will open up their regular season at home in MetLife Stadium against the Cincinnati Bengals on 9/11. It will be the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and will truly be an emotional weekend for the football world.

The Jets will have five prime time games which includes two Monday Night Football games against the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts. They will also have a Thursday Night Football game against the Buffalo Bills and a Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots.
Also in mid-December, the Jets will go up against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday Night Football. This is only the third time in franchise history that the Jets have five prime time games in a season and the first time since they did it consecutively back in 2010 and 2011.
The Jets have their bye come Week 11 which is perfect considering just how long the regular season can be. It will also be very interesting this year as once again the Jets end their season against the Bills as it will be at home game in MetLife Stadium.

As the Jets prepare for the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft, now they have a good idea on how their season will look like in 2016. They will have four of their five road games of the season between Weeks 2 and 6 and have two that are prime time games. With how bad they were on the road last year, hopefully this upcoming season they put up a better performance as it could be the difference in whether they make the playoffs or not in 2016.
