Week six is almost here, so we move along with our weekly picks.
Last week, we got back to .500 with a 2-1 record. Our only loss came at the hands of the Houston Texans, who were not able to stay with the 49ers as we expected them to do. So, entering week six we come in with a record of 7-7-1.
You all know the drill. The picks are recreational only. We take no responsibility for any financial losses as a result of these picks. That being said, let’s take a look at our week six picks in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
PACKERS AT THE RAVENS
We start this week in Baltimore, where Aaron Rodgers and the Packers take on the defending Super Bowl champs. Both teams are coming off of wins last week, and the Ravens are in a three-way tie for first place in the AFC North with a 3-2 record. The Packers got back to .500 with a win over the Lions last week, their 2-2 record is .5 game behind the Lions and Bears at 3-2.
The Packers’ offense is back to its old tricks, averaging nearly 30 points per game. The Ravens have suffered without Anquan Boldin, and without Ray Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe on defense. The Packers’ still have Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, …etc. They are lethal, and it take a lot to stop them. The Packers are favored by three, and that is where you should go. Take the
Packers -3 over the Ravens
TITANS AT THE SEAHAWKS
We head to Seattle for game number two. The Titans bring their second place 3-2 record to face the hometown Seahawks, leading their division at 4-1. This will be a tough one for Tennessee, but how tough?
The Seahawks are favored by 13.5 points. They are off to a great start with the 4-1 record, but, look at it more closely. Who was the one loss against? An AFC team. They are at home, which is one of the toughest stadiums to play in. The Titans do not have a double-digit loss on their record to date. They have been better than they were expected to be, and I anticipate similar results on Sunday. The Seahawks will win, but not by 13.5. Take the……
Titans +13.5 over the Seahawks
COLTS AT THE CHARGERS
To Monday Night Football we go for the final pick of the week. Monday night, the Colts head to San Diego, favored by 2.5 points over the Chargers. The Colts are sporting a 4-1 record, while the Chargers are bringing up the back of their division with a 2-3 record.
The Colts are riding high, winning three straight, while the Chargers come in having lost last week to the Raiders in their late Sunday night game. The Colts are an excellent road team, 2-0 so far, and that perfection should continue. Take the….
Colts -2.5 over the Chargers
So there are your three picks for week number six:
Packers -3 over the RavensTitans +13.5 over the SeahawksColts -2.5 over the Chargers
