Before anything, you need to get decorations, pick up some beer and plan the menu. Unfortunately, planning the menu could be one of the most difficult things to do.
You want to have a variety of items for your guests to choose from. You’re also going to want to make sure the food is delicious and easy to eat while watching the big game. But most of all, you want to make food that isn’t going to keep you in the kitchen all night and that will have an easy cleanup.
Luckily for you, I’ve done the hard part for you. I created this year’s top 10 Super Bowl recipes, that will keep your friends cheering all night.

10. Buffalo Chicken Dip
Buffalo wings can be messy and a ton of work. So, why not have all the delicious flavors and spice of a buffalo wing in a dip?
This dip is not only a crowd pleaser but, it’s quick and easy giving you more time to prep other things or spend time with your guests. Be forewarned, don’t expect leftovers!
Prep Time: 5 minutes, Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
2 (10 ounce) can chunk chicken(drained)
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese (softened and cubed)
1 1/4 cup Ranch dressing
1 1/4 cup Ranch dressing
3/4 cup hot sauce (I use Frank’s)
Step 1
In a large skillet, heat chicken and hot sauce of medium to low heat. Once the chicken is heated through, mix a cup of the ranch dressing and cream cheese chunks. Mix consistently ensuring the cream cheese is well blended. Add half of the cheddar cheese and stir the mixture.
Step 2
Transfer the chicken to an oven safe dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake in the oven until the cheese is bubbly and toasted. Drizzle the rest of the ranch dressing on top and serve.
Serving Suggestions:
This dip can be served with tortilla chips, warm pita bread, or carrots and celery.

9. Chicken Parmesan Eggrolls
Crispy, cheesy chicken parmesan is a popular comfort food that I am serving Super Bowl night. No, I won’t be slaving over the stove all day, and no, my guests won’t be having a sit-down dinner.
These egg rolls make this classic dish a must serve. Handheld rolls make serving easier than ever. Using store bought chicken even cuts the cooking time in half! Not to mention, the eggroll is perfect for dipping!
Prep Time: 20 minutes, Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Cook Time: 20-30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 package egg roll wraps
4 cups marinara sauce
1 pound bread chicken tenders (thawed)
2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1
Roughly chop the chicken tenders into small pieces; one tender should be cut into three or four pieces. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, 1 ½ cups of marinara sauce, cheese and spices. If the mixture looks dry, add more tomato sauce.
Step 2
Lay the wonton wrappers on a flat surface and stuff with mixture; don’t overfill! Brush wrapper with water along the edge and seal the wonton; fold diagonally for a triangle shape. Once you have finished, spray the wontons with cooking spray and bake for 15 minutes. Flip the wonton and bake for another 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve these wontons with the leftover marinara sauce or alfredo sauce. Parmesan cheese may be sprinkled on top for another burst of flavor.

8. Slider Bar
If you’ve ever been to a tailgate you’ve seen it all! But, one thing you will see is burgers and beer; two of American’s staple foods!
Try making a slider bar for your big Super Bowl party. These juicy, little burgers speak for themselves. Set-up a buffet style bar with all the fixings for your guests to make their ultimate burger.
Not only will this allow your guests to be interactive but, it’s fun for the kids and adults. For a healthier crowd, try making a slider bar with turkey or veggie burgers.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef (I use 20 percent fat)
1/2 pound sliced cheese
Slider buns (I prefer King’s Hawaiian)
3 tomatoes thinly sliced
3 white onions thinly sliced
1 (8 ounce) jar pickle chips
Ketchup
Mustard
Mayonnaise
Salt and Pepper
Step 1
Form ground beef into patty shapes. Be sure the burger is a little wider than the bun, as they will shrink a little when cooking. Also, be sure to not make them too thin; no less than half of an inch. Generously season patties with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 2
In a large skillet or grill top, cook burgers for about three minutes and flip; there should be a nice brown crust. Cook for another three minutes. Turn off heat, put on cheese and cover.
Serving Suggestions:
This is the fun part. Make a buffet style fixing bar. Simply put the remaining ingredients on the table and let your guests build their ultimate burger.

7. Creamy Crab and Cheese Dip
In honor of the Super Bowl, I wanted to serve something that had a New England taste. Envisioning flavors of clam chowder and a seafood boil, I decided to go with a gooey, cheesy crab dip.
Other than the taste, the best part of this dip is its versatility; try using shrimp, lobster, clams or your favorite shellfish. Any way you go, the punch of flavor will have your friends smiling all night, even if the New England Patriots lose.
Prep Time: 20 minutes, Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cups crabmeat
1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup white Cheddar cheese
2 (8 ounce) cans artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
Step 1
In the biggest bowl, you can find, mix the crabmeat, sour cream, buttermilk, mayonnaise, cream cheese, Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese. Once those ingredients are combined, add the artichokes, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Step 2
Spray a baking pan with non-stick spray and transfer the crab mixture. Top the crab with Parmesan cheese and Old Bay seasoning. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese creates a golden-brown crust.
Serving Suggestions:
This dip can be served with warm bread, crackers or vegetables. For something different, try hollowing out a round loaf of bread and making a bread bowl; save the inside for your guests to dip!

6. Beer Cheese
I can’t stress enough how simple this beer cheese dip is. And, if your Super Bowl guests are beer fans, this dip is a must serve.
The best part about this dip is it can stay warmed in a crockpot and serve with just about anything that is dippable. The cheeseheads won’t be disappointed!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (softened and cubed)
1 cup beer (I use Guinness but, any dark beer can be used)
1 teaspoon garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1
In a large sauce, melt the cream cheese cubes over medium to low heat. While mixing with a whisk, incorporate the Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese. While still whisking, slowly pour in the beer until all the cheese is melted, and the beer has been mixed in evenly.
Serving Suggestions:
What doesn’t pair well with cheese? Almost anything can be served with this delicious beer cheese dip. I usually serve this dip with raw broccoli and cauliflower, pumpernickel bagel chips, soft pretzels and hard pretzel rods. It’s even a great topper for nachos!

5. Finger Lickin’ Chicken Wings
You can’t have a Super Bowl party without buffalo wings! These wings are so crispy and delicious, your guests will never know they were baked! And, if you’re feeling a little risky, try an alternative sauce that will kick up the taste buds; directions are below.
Prep Time: 1-hour refrigeration needed, Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
20 chicken wings
8 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup hot sauce (I use Frank’s)
For an alternative, or to make a variety of flavors, buy your favorite sauce and add to melted butter. I have substituted hot sauce for barbecue, teriyaki, and garlic parmesan.
Step 1
Combine flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and salt into a large mixing bowl. Add chicken wings, five at a time; smaller batches make it easier to fully coat the wings. Place wings onto a tinfoil lined baking sheet. Be sure to spray with a nonstick spray, and refrigerate the chicken wings for one hour.
Step 2
Melt butter over medium heat and remove from stove. Whisk in the hot sauce, or your sauce of choice until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Dip the refrigerated wings into sauce mixture and put them back on the baking sheet.
Step 3
Bake wings for 20 minutes on 400 degrees. Flip the wings and continue to cook the other side for an additional 20 minutes or until the center isn’t pink and the outside is crispy.
Serving Suggestions:
For a smokier taste, try barbecuing your wings on the grill. Ranch and blue cheese dressing are always a must. Don’t forget the napkins; your guests will get saucy!

4. Chicken and Waffles Kabob
My crab dip was an ode to the Patriots, so it’s only fair I represent the Atlanta Falcons as well. I was trying to think of a southern staple food that pleases everyone, and I decided chicken and waffles is a winner, winner chicken dinner.
But let’s be honest, it’s the Super Bowl. Nobody wants to dive into a plate of chicken and waffles while trying to focus on the big game. And then it hit, chicken and waffles kabobs. The southern classic on a stick.
The kids will have fun eating it, and the adults will be amazed they never thought of it! Having fun while eating this Atlanta favorite will take the ease off the game.
Prep Time: 10 minutes, Preheat oven to 350 degrees, soak skewers in water for an hour
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound breaded chicken bites (thawed)
20 waffles (I use premade frozen)
18-24 wooden kabob skewers
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 cup maple syrup
Step 1
Assemble your kabobs. Put one piece of chicken and one piece of waffle; repeat two or three times depending on your skewer size. Bake for 10 minutes and then turn the kabobs. Cook for another five minutes or until the chicken and waffles are golden brown and crispy.
Step 2
Mix the maple syrup, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Lightly drizzle over the finished kabobs right before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
These kabobs are delicious as is. For a pickier crowd, leave the syrup on the side for dipping. Hot sauce is also another great attribute; leave a bottle on the table and let your guests go to town.
Next: 3. Bite size, massive flavor
3. Fried Cheese Ravioli
If you’ve never had fried ravioli I am sorry. Fried pasta stuffed with cheese, say no more! These bite size snacks will be the first to go!
You can also pre-prep your ravioli by following the dredging directions and then popping the ravioli into the freezer until you’re ready to fry them. Yes, I know; genius!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons whole milk
2 egg
1 1/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 (25 ounce) package frozen cheese ravioli (thawed)
5 cups vegetable oil for frying
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups marinara sauce
Step 1
Whisk together the milk and eggs in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and salt. Then, dip the ravioli in the egg mixture; allow excess to drip off. Coat the ravioli in the bread crumbs, ensuring it’s fully coated on both sides.
Step 2
In a large pan, heat your oil. The oil should only be about two inches high; leftover oil can be used as you continue to fry ravioli. Test your oil; sprinkle a little breadcrumb residue into the pan, and if it browns, your oil is ready. Fry ravioli, one minute on each side or until they are lightly browned and crispy on each side. Place finished ravioli on a paper towel to drain extra oil.
Serving Suggestions:
Sprinkle with parmesan. Heat marinara sauce for dipping. Put a toothpick in each ravioli so your guests can easily grab and go.

2. Bacon Jalapeno Poppers
Grab and go should be a theme to any Super Bowl party. It keeps the clutter down, clean-up easy and everyone can pick and choose as they please.

Jalapeno poppers are a great grab and go option, and I am adding bacon; you can never go wrong with bacon! For a not so spicy crowd, try using sweet mini peppers instead!
Prep Time: 15 minutes, Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup cream cheese (softened and cubed)
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
24 jalapeno peppers (halved lengthwise, seeds removed)
24 slices bacon
Step 1
Mix together the cream cheese and Cheddar cheese. Fill 12 of the jalapenos with the cheese filling. Put the other half of the jalapeno on top, encasing the filling inside. Next, wrap a slice of bacon around the pepper.
Step 2
Place peppers on a tinfoil lined baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the bacon is nice and crispy.
Serving Suggestions:
The jalapeno poppers are always a hit when served with ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping.

1. Pinwheels
Pinwheels are a great way to add variety to your Super Bowl spread. This recipe is pepperoni and cheese but, you can fill your pinwheels with any of your favorite meats, cheeses, and vegetables.
I have even gone as far to put dip inside; spinach and artichoke pinwheels are a great vegetarian option for your friends and family. These flaky, buttery discs will not disappoint.
Prep Time: 20 minutes, Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
48 slices pepperoni
2 (14 ounce) can pizza sauce
Step 1
Open your crescent rolls dough; try not to space the triangles. Pinch together the dough to create one long sheet rather than eight individual rolls. Lay half of the pepperoni on the sheet of dough. Then add half of the cheese on top of the pepperoni. Next, tightly roll the dough into a log form; roll long ways. Repeat this process for the second can or crescent rolls. Cut rolls; you should be able to get 16-24 pinwheels per roll.
Step 2
Spray your baking sheet with nonstick spray, and bake pinwheels for about 12 minutes, or until the dough is thoroughly cooked and light brown.
