  • Will a leader emerge in the kicking competition? So far, Josh Brown and Nick Folk have been virtually even in their battle for the kicker position.  Who will emerge?
  • Will the Jets sign a veteran Right Tackle? This is a question that is of great interest to most Jets fans.  They just went through the Jeff Otah debacle, will the Jets try it again?  Are we stuck with Wayne Hunter?  What about Austin Howard, will he give Hunter a run for his money?
  • Who will emerge as the second wide receiver? Going along with the injuries, we need to see someone emerge as a second guy behind Santonio Holmes.  Will it be Chaz Schilens?  What about Stephen Hill?  Someone else maybe?
  • How will the Jets new look secondary perform? We know that the cornerbacks haven’t changed, but the same can’t be said about the safeties, can it?  Jim Leonhard is out, he was the quarterback of the defensive secondary.  In are Yeremiah Bell, Laron Landry, Antonio Allen, and Josh Bush, to go along with returning veteran Eric Smith.  What will each guy’s role be?  Who will start?  Who will be the quarterback of the defense?  How will the communication work?

There are more, I am sure.  Here are just a smattering of thoughts that I will be looking for answers to, beginning in the second week of training camp for the New York Jets.
