It was not a good week for the picks last week. I should have been 2-1, but the Saints only won by a field goal, coming up short on the spread of -3.5 points. Combine that with the Chiefs not being able to keep pace with the Broncos gave us another 1-2 week. That makes our record heading into week 12 a very mediocre 15-17-1. We look to get back on track with this week’s three picks.

So let’s get right to it. Our week 12 picks in the league we all know and love, the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE…here we go!

TEXANS -10.5 OVER THE JAGUARS

We start this week down in Sunny Florida. Jacksonville Jaguars have been terrible all season long. 1-9 is going finish up a season, and they will want to forget about it if that is even possible.

I like the way Keenum plays. He is a feisty young player that can sling it down the field. He can make the connections if that be done.

Needless to say that Houston has its weapons. What was it? Injuries that derailed that group. I am not saying that the Texans aren’t going to be compettive. They will, but winning by 10.5? I just don’t see it…Take……….

CHIEFS -5.5 OVER THE CHARGERS

Down to Kansas City for game number two. 9-1 is nothing to hang your head over. And what a turn around the Jets put on in 2013. The Chiefs have been a great feal good story with a 9-2 record. Congratulations to Andy Reid.

The Chargers have been better of late, but they are not the team they used to be. The Chiefs are not happy the way things turned out last week, and the Chargers are going to know this in spades. take the

RAMS -1 OVER THE BEARS

Interesting mid-level game to finish the week out with. You have the Bears, being led for another week by backup quarterback Josh McCown. On the other side, it’s the Rams and old friend Kellen Clemens, being led by closer friend of the Jets, Brian Schottenheimer.

A game with a one point spread is basically a “pick-em” game. And I am going to pick the improving Rams. The Bears are not the same without Jay Culter, and you will see it on Sunday. Take the …
