Week seven in the NFL is here. Time to make our weekly NFL picks. OUr season is mirroring the Jets season, ironically enough. As we hit .500, we drop back again, and last week is no different. After a 1-2 record last week, our record drops back to 8-9-1, so here’s hoping to get back on track this week.

As usual, these picks are for recreational purposes only. We, by no means, take any responsibility for any financial losses sustained from these picks. That being said, let’s get to our picks for week seven in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE!

CHARGERS -8 OVER THE JAGUARS: We start this week in Jacksonville, FL, where the Chargers make the cross-country trip to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville is having a good year, if “good” means earning the first pick in next year’s draft.

Danny Woodhead has been performing well out of the backfield for San Diego. In recent weeks, the passing game for the Chargers has been improved as well, with Antonio Gates healthy, and the emergence of Keenan Allen. Expect the improved play to continue. Take the……

Chargers -8 over the Jaguars

EAGLES -2.5 OVER THE COWBOYS: We head to Philadelphia, PA for game number two. It’s a game for first place in the NFC East, as Chip Kelly’s 3-3 Eagles host the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles have won the last two to even their record, and the Cowboys won last week, after narrowly losing to the Broncos despite Tony Romo’s 500 passing yards.

The Cowboys may or may not have Demarco Murray on Sunday, but I don’t believe that it will matter. The way Tony Romo has looked, minus the interception, should allow him to win no matter who the quarterback is. This one should be a shootout, and the last time the ‘Boys were involved in a shootout, was against the Broncos. Tony Romo throwing for nearly a billion yards helped do the trick. That should continue against an Eagles team that doesn’t pay a lot of defense. Take the

Cowboys +2.5 over the Eagles

CHIEFS -6.5 OVER THE TEXANS

We finish this week in Kansas city, where we find two teams heading in the opposite directions. The Chiefs enter the game 6-0, while the Texans….well, they don’t. They have lost four games in a row to bring their record to 2-4. Every time they hit the field it seems that someone is returning a pick six against them.

Last week, starting quarterback Matt Schaub was injured, and T.J. Yates came in. Things did not get any better. The Chiefs are riding high with the new life installed by head coach Any Reid, and quarterback Alex Smith. This one is an easy one. Take the….
