Week four is here, so therefore it’s time for the week four picks. Last week was my best week so far, going 2-1. The only blemish on the week was Jacksonville not being able to lose by less than 20 points. Other than that, the record hit .500, with a mark of 4-4 with one push.

You know the drill by now. These pics are for recreational purposes only, and we are not responsible for any financial losses based on these choices. With that, let’s get to the picks for a week 4 in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE!

COLTS -9.5 OVER JAGUARS

We start this week in Jacksonville, home of the Tim Tebow rally. Unfortunately, that has been the only thing newsworthy to come out of Jacksonville in quite some time, other than how lousy their football team is. This one is more about how bad Jacksonville is, than about how good the Colts are.

Simply put, the Jaguars are coming off a blowout loss, where their opponent covered a twenty point spread. The Colts already have a win over the 49ers under their belt. Until the Jaguars prove they can stop a high school team, take the……

Colts -9.5 over the Jaguars

CHIEFS -5 OVER THE GIANTS

There has been a resurgence from Kansas City, on the back of Andy Reid’s arrival. Fresh off of his long tenure in Philadelphia, Andy has brought new life with him, and has reinvigorated the Chiefs. He has an efficient quarterback in Alex Smith, a good running game in Jamaal Charles, and a defense that hasn’t played this well in years.

The proof is in the record, as it has been many, many years since the Chiefs have opened to a 3-0 record. By contrast, the Giants have opened up 0-3, making folks start to wonder if Tom Coughlin is hitting the end of the line here in NY. Eli Manning has been throwing interceptions left and right, the running game has done very little, and the defense? Well, the defense gave up 38 points last week.

But, the Giants aren’t finished. The Chiefs are not going undefeated and the Giants are going to win at some point. Tom Coughlin has this team angry and ready to turn things around. This one is more of a hunch than anything else, but I really believe the Giants get off the winless track this week. Take the….

Giants +5 over the Chiefs

BRONCOS -11.5 OVER EAGLES

We head to Denver for the final pick of the week. The ageless Peyton Manning is up to his old tricks, setting records with 12 touchdown passes over the first three weeks of the year. It seems like there is nothing this man can’t do, and that the Broncos cannot be beaten.

But, this opponent is not the Oakland Raiders. The Eagles will not go down without a fight, and they can score too. They may not be in first in the league, like the Broncos are, but they are averaging over 26 points per game. Chip Kelly’s revamped Philly offense can score at a moment’s notice as well.

I am not saying that the Eagles will win, but the Broncos will not cover. Take the..
