Which Free Agent Will Have the Biggest Impact on the New York Jets?

We are back with this week’s edition of “Tweet Speak”. You know the rules, I ask the question via Twitter, you guys tweet me some answers, and we post them as part of an article here at the J-E-T Press. So, let’s get to it:

This week, we are talking about the Jets, and free agency. We know that this has been an under the radar type of free agency season for the New York Jets. John Idzik and company have not made the big splash, as it were, but they have made the affordable moves, at positions that the Jets are in the most need. So, I reached out to you guys on Twitter, and asked, “Which free agent will make the biggest impact?”. Here are some of the responses I received:

@thejetpress i would really like to see @thomasmayo1 have a good camp and play a big role with the Jets offense. #Jets

This guy is one of the lesser-known guys that the team has signed. If this guy does make a big impact, it would be the type of move that could be a signature of the Idzik era.

@thejetpress If he can stay healthy, Goodson could contribute as much as LeSean McCoy did for Marty in Philly.

Those are lofty hopes from Hans. I like what I see from Goodson as well, and if he can make that kind of impact, the team would reap the huge benefits, and could turn things around rather quickly.

@thejetpress IMO @willcolon66 could have the biggest impact in 2013. If he comes in pre-achilles, 2009 form we have a physical nasty dude…

Colon has admitted to having a chip on his shoulder about being allowed to leave by the Steelers. Hopefully he can turn that anger into great play for our New York Jets.

@thejetpress hazelton actually making big plays down field and sanchez gets another buddy maybe this time it works out

It would be nice for Mark Sanchez to have an asset that can help bring his talent out. It’s nearly been criminal the way he has been treated of late, it would be a nice change.

That’s “Tweet-Speak”. We’ll do it again next week.
