The NY Jets continue to await the decision of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers following his return from his darkness retreat last week. The entire quarterback market is essentially on hold until Rodgers makes his decision.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler spoke about said quarterback market on Sunday, and he reiterated that Rodgers is the first domino that has to fall. Rodgers remains "option A" for the Jets, but they can't proceed until he makes up his mind.

Fowler insisted that there is "no clear timetable" on when Rodgers will decide his future, although it figures to happen before the start of free agency next month.

A decision from Rodgers could come today. It could come in two weeks. No one really knows. What we do know, however, is that he dictates the pace of the quarterback market.

Top free-agent center Garrett Bradbury could be available

The Jets are expected to be active in the center market this free-agency period with the incumbent Connor McGovern set to hit the open market. There's still a chance the Jets bring McGovern back, but they're going to explore their options.

One very intriguing player who could become available is Minnesota Vikings' center Garrett Bradbury. The Vikings would like to re-sign their 27-year-old starter, but the team is over $20 million over the salary cap at the moment.

If Bradbury hits free agency, he will be one of the most appealing center options on the open market. The former first-round pick was Pro Football Focus' 11th-highest-graded center in 2022, as he also finished with a top-10 PFF run-block grade.

Bradbury is still young and would be an ideal scheme fit in the Jets' outside zone scheme. Expect them to have interest if the Vikings can't secure a new deal.

Jets had the top draft class in 2022

The Jets have received near-universal praise for the performance of their 2022 NFL Draft class this past season. Add NFL.com's Eric Edholm and Nick Shook as two more individuals who came away very impressed.

Edholm and Shook ranked the Jets as having the best draft class in 2022, and the only team to receive a retrospective 'A' grade. This shouldn't come as a surprise, seeing as though the draft class produced both Rookie of the Year winners in Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson.

That's not including second-round pick Breece Hall, who looked like one of the best running backs in football prior to his season-ending knee injury. Others such as Jermaine Johnson, Micheal Clemons, and Max Mitchell all found ways to contribute early as well.

That 2022 draft class might not just go down as one of the best in Jets history, but it might just be one of the best in NFL history when all is said and done. That's how special this class could be.
