In the latest episode of The Jet Press Podcast, Justin Fried and Mike Luciano discuss the Chuck Clark injury, how Adrian Amos fits in with the NY Jets, share some bold predictions for the 2023 season, and more.

The biggest talking point this week was obviously the Jets' safety situation. Starting safety Chuck Clark reportedly suffered a serious knee injury on Tuesday and could miss the entire 2023 season.

The Clark injury is a significant blow to the Jets' defense as the former Baltimore Ravens sixth-round pick might very well be the best safety on the Jets' roster. How does Clark's injury impact the defense?

One player who will be asked to step up in Clark's absence is the newly-signed Adrian Amos. What does Amos bring to the table for the Jets? Can he bounce back after a disappointing 2022 season? Is he a suitable replacement for Clark?

After the safety talk, Justin and Mike shifted the conversation to Jets general manager Joe Douglas. Douglas has now been with the Jets for four years, so we figured it would be fun to recap some of the best and worst moves of his time with the team.

From the Zach Wilson pick to the entire 2020 NFL Draft class, Douglas has had his fair share of blunders. That said, he's also made a lasting impact on the franchise in a positive way. The 2022 NFL Draft class and the Jamal Adams trade come to mind.

Finally, Justin and Mike shared a few bold predictions for the upcoming 2023 season. How many receiving yards will Garrett Wilson end up with? Could Mekhi Becton stay healthy for the entire year? Bold predictions are welcome!
