The NY Jets have until 4 pm ET today to make their final roster moves, and releases/cuts might not be the only transactions the Jets make. At least one player on the roster has been the subject of trade rumors — and it's not who you'd expect.

ESPN's Rich Cimini reported Monday night that backup offensive lineman Trystan Colon has drawn interest from a number of teams leading up to today's deadline. Multiple teams have called the Jets inquiring about a trade for the former Baltimore Ravens lineman.

The Jets signed Colon to a one-year contract this offseason, but he appears to be the odd man out in an interior offensive line room that also features Wes Schweitzer and Joe Tippmann.

Colon impressed in limited action with the Ravens and has guard/center flexibility. There's a chance the Jets are able to flip him for something of value before today's roster cut deadline.

Other NY Jets news

Jason Brownlee has seemingly made the 53-man roster

Jets undrafted rookie wide receiver Jason Brownlee seemingly confirmed that he's made the team's 53-man roster with a post on Facebook on Monday night.

Brownlee shared a post that featured the caption, "Prayers go up, blessings come down. I made the 53 roster." That certainly indicates that Brownlee will be a part of the Jets' initial roster.

The former Southern Miss standout was given the fourth-most guaranteed money of any undrafted rookie in the NFL this year. The Jets clearly had high hopes for him when he was signed, and he did enough this summer to earn a roster spot.

The surprise retirement of Corey Davis certainly helped strengthen his case. The Jets might enter the 2023 season with multiple undrafted rookie wide receivers on their roster if Xavier Gipson makes the team as well.

Dalvin Cook wants to win a Super Bowl

Jets running back Dalvin Cook appeared on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday to discuss the upcoming 2023 season and his decision to sign with Gang Green.

Cook told McAfee that he signed with the Jets because he wanted to join a team that was built to win right now. His top priority at this stage of his career is securing the always-elusive Super Bowl ring.

"I wanted to go to a team that was suited right now to go win. I'm trying to win a ring. I've been watching it for a few years, I'm trying to go get one."

Cook is expected to play a key role in the Jets' offense, especially early in the season, as Breece Hall continues to work his way back from his torn ACL. The Jets hope that Cook could help his own cause and be a reason why the team reaches the Super Bowl this season.
