The NY Jets have released their final injury report ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. There are no major surprises and only one player has been officially ruled out.

The Jets have ruled out reserve safety Sharrod Neasman for Sunday's game while wide receiver Keelan Cole and running back La'Mical Perine are both listed as questionable.

Neasman has been dealing with a hamstring injury and didn't practice all week while Cole injured his knee on Thursday and was held out of Friday's practice.

As for Perine, he's been battling a foot injury, but returned as a full participant on Friday. Both Cole and Perine will be game-time decisions, per head coach Robert Saleh.

The NY Jets could be without Keelan Cole and two others on Sunday

With Neasman out, the Jets will lean on the recently acquired Sheldrick Redwine as their lone backup safety behind starters Marcus Maye and Lamarcus Joyner.

The most significant absence would be the loss of Cole who figures to play a key role in the team's wide receiver rotation.

If Cole can't go, the Jets will be forced to lean on the likes of Braxton Berrios, Denzel Mims, and Jeff Smith. His absence would be especially concerning given that Jamison Crowder has already been ruled OUT as he remains on the COVID-19 list.

Perine's absence wouldn't prove too troublesome with the Jets having promoted Josh Adams from the practice squad prior to this week's game.

Not to mention, Perine wasn't expected to have a huge role in the game either with the likes of Ty Johnson, Tevin Coleman, and Michael Carter all seemingly ahead of him on the depth chart.

The Jets are relatively healthy, apart from the numerous players on the injured reserve, heading into Week 1.
