On Sunday. it comes to the duel with the Houston Texans. A week ago. I would have written, if the NY Jets are going to beat anyone, it's going to be the Texans.

Now, the Texans have won surprisingly against the Tennessee Titans and are going into the matchup with the Jets stronger and full of self-confidence. Reason enough to take a close look at the respective matchups. Who should you start and who should you sit on your fantasy football teams?

Start: Elijah Moore, WR, NY Jets

Few teams have allowed more fantasy points to wide receivers over the last five weeks than the Houston Texans — 47.4 per game. This actually makes Elijah Moore, the NY Jets' No. 1 wide receiver, an automatic must-start.

In each of the last five games, Moore has had at least six targets. He has also scored at least one touchdown in each of the last three games. A small question mark remains, however. Moore had his best games in the absence of Zach Wilson.

The rookie quarterback will start again this week. Let's hope he took a good look at the Jets' last few games and realized what a potent weapon Moore can be.

Start: Brandin Cooks, WR, Houston Texans

Much like the Texans pass defense, the Jets pass defense has been concerning. At 45.9 fantasy points, the Jets have allowed the most points to wide receivers over the last three weeks. The one thing that makes Brandin Cooks a shaky starter for your fantasy football team is Tyrod Taylor.

Since his return, Cooks has been getting significantly fewer targets, which of course is reflected in his Fantasy points. Still, the inexperienced cornerbacks of the Jets should provide plenty of opportunities for Cooks.

Start: Tyrod Taylor, QB, Houston Texans

Speaking of Tyrod Taylor, you can also safely start the Texans quarterback in your fantasy football teams. Over the last three weeks, the Jets defense has allowed the third-most points to quarterbacks, with 25.9 fantasy points per game. Add to that 911 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns — both league bests.

Even though Taylor hasn't thrown a passing touchdown in his last two starts, there's a very good chance he does against the Jets. The matchup just speaks to that.
