Oh. My. God. The NY Jets pulled off the most improbable and important win of the Robert Saleh era, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles by a final score of 20-14 in the unlikeliest of fashions.

The Jets' defense forced four turnovers of Jalen Hurts, capped off by a late-game interception by Tony Adams to give the Jets the ball with under two minutes to play. A Breece Hall touchdown later, and the Jets had their first and only lead of the game.

The Jets had no business winning this game. The offense was abysmal in the red zone, failing to score on their first three opportunities. Zach Wilson struggled. The offensive line wasn't particularly good. The offensive coaching was questionable.

But it didn't matter. The Jets' defense put together an all-time performance and scored a massive win for the organization. Somehow, some way, the Jets are 3-3 at the bye week without Aaron Rodgers.

How did the NY Jets beat the Eagles in Week 6?

This game had everything. A Quinnen Williams interception, a Quincy Williams fumble recovery, a Bryce Hall interception, and a Tony Adams interception highlighted an unbelievable game by the Jets' defense.

Expectations were low given the injuries facing the Jets' secondary. The team was without Sauce Gardner, D.J. Reed, and Brandin Echols. Michael Carter II suffered an injury during the game. They were down to their sixth, 10th, and 11th-string cornerbacks.

None of that mattered. The Jets' defense made yet another elite quarterback look like a rookie. Hurts was careless with the football and made a bone-headed mistake that cost his team the game.

That's what this defense does to opposing quarterbacks. The fact that they were able to do it with practice-squad players at cornerback speaks to how good the unit really is.

There should be no more "overhyped" talk after this game. The Jets have one of the best defenses in the NFL. They were solely responsible for a win over arguably the best team in football.

The Jets are 3-3 at the bye week. What a world.
