NY Jets fans celebrated the official announcement that the Aaron Rodgers trade had been finalized on Monday. It was a moment of pure jubilation and unbridled euphoria for fans of the organization.

After enduring years of misery and over a decade of failing to reach the postseason, Jets fans are understandably excited about their team acquiring one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.

But the fans aren't the only ones who should be celebrating. Jets players should, and seemingly are, thrilled about the impending arrival of their newest teammate. Some should be even happier than others as well.

Essentially every player on the Jets' roster benefits from the Rodgers trade, but these four players stand to gain the most from the acquisition.

4. Breece Hall, RB, NY Jets

Breece Hal was the Jets' offense last year. Prior to his injury, Hall ranked top 10 in the NFL in scrimmage yards despite playing 50 percent or more snaps in just four of his seven games.

With Hall, the Jets' offense was one of the most explosive in the league, in spite of their shaky quarterback play. Once Hall went down, it became very apparent how dreadful the Jets' offense was.

But things should be different in 2023. Aaron Rodgers has replaced Zach Wilson in what might be one of the single greatest glow-ups in NFL history. Everyone around Rodgers should benefit, but just imagine what Hall will be capable of.

Hall was one of the best and most explosive running backs in football, with defenses stacking the box against him. With a future Hall of Famer at QB, Hall could be All-Pro bound if he stays healthy.

3. Allen Lazard, WR, NY Jets

Every wide receiver on the Jets' roster will benefit from the arrival of Aaron Rodgers. After seeing what the Jets' receivers were forced to deal with last season, it's impossible to overstate the quarterback upgrade they will receive this year.

But one receiver, in particular, is probably extra happy about the Rodgers trade, and it's someone whose decision to sign with the Jets this offseason was likely influenced by the expected arrival of the four-time MVP.

Allen Lazard is no stranger to catching passes from Rodgers. In fact, the former Iowa State standout has spent the entirety of his five-year NFL career doing just that.

Lazard was Rodgers' de facto WR1 in 2022, and the 27-year-old put together a career season, finishing with 60 catches for 788 yards and six touchdowns.

He's been vocal about his positive relationship with Rodgers in the past and is surely ecstatic that his longtime quarterback will be following him to Florham Park. That already-established chemistry could do wonders for Lazard's production with the Jets.

Rather than being designated the No. 1 target in the Jets' offense, Lazard will be a second or third option for Rodgers. Lazard won't have the pressure of carrying the load in the Jets' offense, and he'll still have his favorite quarterback throwing him the ball.

Lazard likely signed with the Jets, at least in part, because he wanted to continue playing alongside Rodgers. Now, his wishes have come to fruition.

2. Zach Wilson, QB, NY Jets

It's not just pass-catchers who stand to benefit from the Rodgers acquisition. In a weird way, the man who will be backing up Rodgers in 2023 is also a winner of this trade.

Zach Wilson grew up idolizing Rodgers. He's been quoted as saying he "tried to be just like him" growing up. Now, he will have the opportunity to learn from him every day in person.

Rodgers doesn't necessarily have a reputation for being a highly-regarded mentor to young quarterbacks, but that reputation might be a little misguided. Take Jordan Love, for example.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has spoken highly of Rodgers' leadership and guidance in regard to both Love and new Jets quarterback Tim Boyle. Rodgers has even spoken about his desire to give back to younger quarterbacks in a similar way to how Brett Favre gave back to him years ago.

Rodgers is happy and willing to mentor young quarterbacks, especially someone like Wilson, who has very vocally idolized the future Hall of Famer. There is no better scenario for Wilson this season.

The former No. 2 overall pick won't be saddled with the pressure of leading a win-now team to the postseason. Instead, he'll sit and learn behind his idol, who just so happens to be one of the greatest to ever play the position.

The odds that Wilson still has a long-term future with the Jets are slim, but if there was ever a chance for him to turn his career around, this is what he needed. A fresh start. A reboot. And a dream scenario.

Zach Wilson is one of the biggest winners of the Aaron Rodgers trade.

1. Garrett Wilson, WR, NY Jets

What Garrett Wilson did in his rookie season, despite receiving some of the worst quarterback play in modern NFL history, cannot and should not be understated.

The 10th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft finished his rookie season with 83 catches for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns en route to being named Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Wilson broke virtually every Jets rookie record and became the team's first 1,000-yard receiver since the 2015 season. His 83 catches ranked top 10 among any Jets player in a single season in franchise history.

He did all of that as a rookie with the worst quarterback play in the NFL. It's time to start talking about Wilson — last year's Rookie of the Year — as a breakout candidate in 2023.

Just imagine what the 22-year-old could do with Rodgers at QB. Just imagine his potential impact in an offense loaded with playmakers and with a legitimate NFL quarterback throwing him passes.

If 1,100 yards was Wilson's floor with Zach Wilson/Mike White/Joe Flacco, what's his ceiling with Aaron Rodgers? We're talking about an Offensive Player of the Year-like ceiling here.

Garrett Wilson has the opportunity to establish himself as one of the premier players at any position in the NFL next season. No player on the Jets' roster will benefit more from the Aaron Rodgers trade.
