Throughout the regular season, the New York Jets will announce their High School Coach of the Week and also donate to their football program.
The New York Jets have officially named Keith Migliorino of Northern Highlands High School in New Jersey as the Week 5 recipient of this amazing award. Keith Migliorino of Northern Highlands High School in New Jersey has been named this week’s recipient of the New York Jets High School Coach of the Week award presented by Chase. Through Chase’s partnership, the monetary award to benefit the school’s football program has doubled to $2,000. Coach Migliorino will be presented with a certificate and award ball. In addition, he is invited to watch the New York Jets play the Buffalo Bills on January 1st in Chase’s suite at MetLife Stadium.
In its 21st year, the Coach of the Week award is given to a coach in the Tri-State area who serves the best interests of the game through the teaching of sound football fundamentals, the motivation of young players to achieve and the promotion of youth football by way of dedication to their community, their school and their student-athletes.
Migliorino is a 1999 graduate of Don Bosco High School in NJ, where he started at quarterback and linebacker before going on to play linebacker for four years at Montclair State University.
He’s into his 14thseason coaching, with 13 years of experience coaching at Kean University. He is in his first season as head coach at Northern Highlands High School.
In addition to his coaching duties, Migliorino serves as the administrative assistant to the athletic director for the Northern Highlands region School District.
On Saturday, October 1st, the Northern Highlands Highlanders shut out the Teaneck Highwaymen, 15-0, raising their record to 4-0 for the season.
