New York Jets: Complete list of undrafted free agents

The New York Jets just like any football team really, is always on the lookout for hidden gems that didn’t get drafted. It’s a proven theory that you can find some incredible talent from players that went undrafted. Athletes like Kurt Warner, John Randle and Warren Moon all performed incredibly well in summer training camps and carved their names into the NFL history books by making the team.

As per ESPN New York’s Rich Cimini, take a look at a complete list of undrafted free agents for the Jets:

It’s clear that the Jets truly want to make a statement on the defensive side of the football which was definitely an area of weakness last season. The Jets were so bad on defense, they couldn’t contain anyone from marching up and down the field against them.

With a solid draft that involves defensive end Leonard Williams, linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin and defensive tackle Deon Simon, the Jets are ready to make some noise this upcoming season against even the best offenses coming their way.

Overall, these undrafted free agents might not make the team but hopefully, a few will emerge as top-notch talent that went unnoticed by teams during the draft that will be key contributors for the Jets in the future. With plenty of fantastic stories of undrafted players becoming superstars, hopefully the Jets will find some to really push the envelope in 2015.
