2015 NFL Draft: Amari Cooper to the New York Jets in Fansided Mock

Time to review another mock draft.
Tonight, we are taking a look at a draft from our friends at NFL Mocks, one of our Fansided sites strictly related to the NFL draft. One of their most prolific writers is Erik Lambert. Last week, he put out his latest mock draft.
For the Jets, he chose Amari Cooper, WR, Alabama. Here are Lambert’s thoughts on Cooper and the pick:
With Mariota and the top edge rushers gone, the New York Jets decide to give their offense another big boost by bringing in Amari Cooper. He is the most pro-ready receiver in the 2015 class with speed to spare and route running prowess to get himself open. He’ll make an excellent compliment to the redwood forest they’ve assembled with Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall and Jace Amaro.

It would be very difficult to be disappointed if the Jets take Cooper here. He is as pro-ready as they come. The two pass rushers that I love, Beasley and Fowler, are gone. Cooper is an explosive wide receiver, that would make a great addition to the Decker and Marshall duo, although I wouldn’t count Jeremy Kerley out of that mix either.
The Jets could still go offensive line here, but Amari Cooper would not disappoint.
