Take a look at Coples’ career to date:
Defense & Fumbles
Coples came on with 6.5 sacks last year, and seems primed for a big season. At least, former line coach Karl Dunbar thought so in our discussion after last season.
Good move by the Jets. Coples has been getting better each season, and will be motivated to put a big season in to earn that big pay-day. A big year will have given the Jets a huge pass rush off the edge at a bargain price. It also leaves the option of a trade available if the Jets need to go that route.
Good to see this news today, good move for Copes and the Jets.
