2015 NFL Draft: Shane Ray Mocked to the New York Jets

Another mock draft is upon us, ladies and gentlemen.
Our friends at With the First Pick have released their mock draft for this week. Many sites, ours included, release one weekly right up until the NFL draft begins, and here is their version.
And the New York Jets selected Shane Ray from Missouri with the sixth pick of the draft. Here are there thoughts:
No change here as quarterback Geno Smith should get one more year after finishing 2014 strong. Receiver Brandon Marshall was added to help the offense. Corners Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie are back too so the Jets get an edge-rusher.

I like this pick a lot. First off, you guys know how I feel about taking a pass rusher here. I think it could take the Jets to an elite level very quickly. Looking at the board in this draft, Ray is the guy. Dante Fowler and Vic Beasley are already gone. Randy Gregory naturally has fallen down this board thanks to the failed drug test.
Ray is a talented pass rusher that could help the Jets immediately. If this scenario plays out this way, the New York Jets will have had an excellent first round.
