Report: New York Jets and Darrelle Revis Reunion Becoming Likely

Well, ladies and gentlemen, your wish may be coming true. Take a look at the recent Tweet from Adam Schefter:
Sense out of New England is that Darrelle Revis is likely to be a Jet, per sources. NE still will make final push. Not over yet.

So, the Jets might just be the leaders in the clubhouse to sign cornerback Darrelle Revis. No financials have been published as of this post, but yesterday, it sounded like Revis was seeking three years at $48 million, with $40 million guaranteed. We know that the Jets have the room to pay him. There is no doubt that Darrelle Revis was a great Jet on the field.
It’s not over yet, as New England, per Schefter, is going to make a strong play here. But it sounds like the odds are swinging in the Jets favor to land the prized cornerback of them all, Darrelle Revis.
By now, you know how I feel. I don’t want him back. The Jets aren’t likely to get to the level we want, before Revis starts making noise about his contract yet again. But, we do know he is an obvious upgrade over the current squad, so we shall see what happens.
