2015 NFL Draft: Marcus Mariota to the New York Jets Once Again

Time to look at another mock draft. This time, we are looking at the weekly mock from our parent site, Fansided.com. Every week until the draft, they are rotating through their staff, and joining the fray with their first round mocks.
This week, we are going to take a look at the work of Ryan Lehrman, and his version of the first round of the upcoming draft. And who does he mock to the Jets with the sixth pick of the draft? A very familiar name, none other than Marcus Mariota from Oregon. Here are his thoughts:
The rotation of Geno Smith, Michael Vick and Matt Simms yielded only four Ws last season. With new offensive coordinator Chan Gailey, the Jets will want to revamp the offense by nabbing top draft prospect Marcus Mariota.
The elusive Oregon QB is known for his fancy footwork, but he can also deliver clean throws in tight windows. Since scrambling QBs have fallen out of vogue in the last five years, Mariota will have to hone his accuracy and improve his second- and third- reads. Still, he leads by example and is slotted to become the Jets’ new franchise quarterback.

You guys know what I think here by now. Lehrman’s words are some of the very reason I don’t want Mariota. If you are going to draft a quarterback in the top ten, it had better be a guy who is accurate, and doesn’t need work on his second and third reads. A project cannot be taken at the position.
Am I wrong? So many mock drafts are sending Mariota to the Jets. Am I wrong, Jets fans? Should the Jets draft Mariota if he is available? Talk to me.
