If the report is true, Percy Harvin will not likely be back with the New York Jets.  Take a look at this Tweet from NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora:

Would be shocked if Percy Harvin agreed to any reduced deal w/NYJ. Expect NE among those interested. And I keep hearing Spiller to Jets

More from Jets News

Percy Harvin is scheduled to make $10,500,000 this season, although none of it is guaranteed. If Harvin doesn’t agree to restructure his contract, expect him to be released. If he is released prior to March 19th, the Seahawks will only be owed a sixth round pick to complete last season’s trade. Harvin being on the roster after 4 PM on that date would force the Jets to send a fourth round pick.

Percy Harvin was the best playmaker on the field for the Jets last season, as Mike Nash wrote about several days ago. But, $10 million is a lot of money for a receiver that hasn’t been on the field for 16 games in quite some time. The Jets might be able to afford his current contract, but is it a good investment?

It’s reported that the Patriots will be one of the suitors interested in Harvin’s services. Now that would make me sad.
