New York Jets: Top Returning Free Agent, Poll Results

Jets fans have spoken once again, and we have the results.

More from Jets News

Earlier this week, we put out a poll regarding the current Jets free agents, and we asked who you the most important free agent was for the Jets to resign. We gave you some choices like David Harris, Bilal Powell, and Dawan Landry. You all voted, and the fan base has spoken.

The results are in and Jets fans most important free agent, is not even an unrestricted free agent. See who the Jets fans want back the most:

Damon Harrison

(69%, 83 Votes)

David Harris

(23%, 27 Votes)

Bilal Powell

(4%, 5 Votes)

Other (specify in comments)

(3%, 4 Votes)

  • Dawan Landry (1%, 1 Votes)
  • Everybody is showing the love for Jets DT Damon “Snacks” Harrison, and with good reason. We all know Damon’s story, making his way up the ranks from undrafted rookie to star nose tackle. In 2013, Pro Football Focus ranked Damon number one against the run, and last season he backed that up with a ranking of number three against the run. He may not make the plays of the other flashy defensive linemen like Wilkerson and Richardson, but Harrison is a consistent rock in the middle that the Jets would be well served to keep him here a long time.

It’s interesting that nobody really prioritized bringing back any of the unrestricted free agents, like David Harris, Bilal Powell, or any of the others.

We heard yesterday that the Jets are bringing back Calvin Pace and Jason Babin. We will see how the offense unfolds, but we know what the Jets fans want.
