The Super Bowl is just about upon us, ladies and gentlemen.  At around this time tomorrow night, fans all over the world will be gathering around their TV sets to watch the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.  As you read this, many of you are likely finalizing game day food, cooking if necessary, making a shopping list for tomorrow morning, getting the serving dishes out, and if you are any other team’s fan, thinking about what it might be like if your team was playing tomorrow night.  I know I am.

Another preparation your are likely making is gambling prep.  Many Super Bowl parties are kept even more interesting with a pool, and everyone picking squares to win money  based on the score at the end of each quarter.  But this is not the only way to make it exciting as well.  No.  Another way to get the competitive juices flowing during the Super Bowl is with “Prop Bets”.  For anyone that doesn’t know, these are bets that on events that might occur during the game, like which team will score first, what type of score the first one will be…etc.

Odds are placed on these as well.  I thought it might be fun to bring in some of the most entertaining ones, so you might be able to use them in your Super Bowl parties tomorrow night.  Enjoy!

Personally, I am disappointed that the “cut sleeves” are favored, because that would be a bet I would make. I think it’s a real long shot that the hoodie is full-sleeved since they are in Arizona. The underdog is a good bet, however, in the “overtime” question. No Super Bowl has ever gone to overtime, so the odds of that starting now aren’t great.

Hopefully these help you make your Super Bowl party more fun. Enjoy!
